I think you are right. I held off buying a Ps3 for several months so I could get an MGS4 bundle. I am sure some people in Japan are holding off to get a FF13 bundle. Also price drop rumors and slim rumors are probably not helping sales at this point. I mean if you thought that a system would get a price cut, a new model (perhaps an improvement), and a great game bundled with it wouldn't you be willing to wait a few months to get all that?

I think even a halo or gran torismo game would have trouble going up against Madden in sales. No offense to wolfenstein as a game, but how many people, other than hardcore gamers, have heard of it? Probably not too many. Then how many of those hardcore gamers know about this guys tweet? On top of that you are going up against a game that is coming to every system under the sun and appeals to almost everybody on the planet Earth.

I know this doesn't count Japan, but this still seems really low. The PS3 is also way too low. The wii is too low, but the 360 might be right.
I think the 360 would have been an amazing console if it weren't for reliability. Which, for me, is a big deal. And MS support doing crud like this when you annoy them doesn't help.

I think that if MGS4 was ever going to go multi-plat it would already have happened. If it ever happens it is kind of too late to dull the positive effect it had on PS3.
